PAYMENT : due before start day to hold your spot
EQUIPMENT
Players needing a racquet, can use our complimentary
adult & junior demos for the first week. There is a $10 adult/junior racquet rental fee to continue using these for the session (5 weeks). We can find
you the right model based on your budget and level of play. Our prices are
competitive, and our advice will save you time and money. The rental fee is
deducted from the price of the new racquet, if you decide to purchase. Basic
junior racquets cost $25 and
up, and adult racquets start at $30.
Players are encouraged to bring tennis sneakers or an
equivalent sturdy shoe (not running shoes) that provides good lateral support.
Water, a hat and sport sunglasses are helpful.
REFUND POLICIES
- before Monday start of new session ( 100%)
- after Monday start of new session (50%)
- after 1st class : none
- no refunds or credits for rainouts (these are made up
per rainout policy below) or missed classes (see make up policy below)
- spots may not be assigned to others without prior
approval
- lessons not taken during a 5 week session , do not carry over to the next
sessions
GENERAL

When classes are
held indoors at Newtown Youth Academy or Rumsey Hall School please be advised
that I'm not affiliated with these organizations.

Adult class sizes
are limited to 8 players. Your
understanding is appreciated when there is an occasional 9 in a class (due to a
scheduling error)

Only Parents of
5-7 year olds ,are allowed on the court if necessary, and should be available
initially, in
case your child needs assistance.

Please limit
coaching from the sidelines since it is can confuse your child and is disruptive
to other players.

Junior class sizes: LEVEL 1 ( AGES 5- 7year old range we prefer no more than 6
kids/instructor)

LEVEL 2 (AGES 8-11 years) & LEVEL 3 (AGES 12 +), usually 8 kids/instructor, with
additional instructor where needed.
RAIN OUT POLICY
- no calls please
- check the info page :

for class status (live update from the court) and makeup date
- you may also
receive a text or email
- cancellation
decisions are made as soon as possible , at the latest 1/2 hr before start of
class
- for last
minute rainout , keep checking the info page (you may get an email or text if
the info page cannot be updated in time)
- your makeup date will be posted in a timely manner ,
and no later than 730pm the day of rainout
- you are responsible for confirming back makeup date
attendance, ( email or text )
MISSING A
CLASS
EXTRA CLASS
ADULT and JUNIOR MAKE UP POLICY (Subject to
availability)
- free but subject to availability, and spots cannot be
booked or held or availability checked. I can advise appropriate times , then
you can show up and play if there is space ( max 8 players/ct)
HOLIDAY MAKE UP POLICY
- No group classes on New Year's Day, Memorial Day,
July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and between Christmas and New Year's Day
